what is the very good free antivirus software ?

suffering problem that not able to open drives on double click.

On the Yahoo downloads you can download a free trial of Norton 360 for a 30 day free trial. I use Norton Antivirus, it protects much better than any free Antivirus, and the 30 days gives you time to come up with the bucks to get a real Antivirus.
Failing that, use AVG and Spybot search and destroy with ad-aware for antispyware.
To be honest, there aren’t any. All free anti viruses are mostly viruses themselves. They usually add more viruses then remove. Your best off buying Nortan Antivirus. They might be expensive but they do the job. Alternatively if your computer is that much of a problem you can back up your files to an external hard drive or cd then restore your computer. If you are looking for a whole new computer then any Mac would do. They are slightly on the expensive side but they do not receive viruses like a PC would nor do they slow down as dramatically.
Well first i would run spybot “search and destroy”
then c cleaner then i would load up the firefox browser then i would reload explorer because whenever you have viruses and you remove them it makes explorer crash…………

i have all of the programs and i never have any problems.
the biggest key is using firefox….

First Ccleaner, Avg anti virus free edition and zone alarm for a fire wall.
De-fraggler. google them. All free editions.
other: Avast anti virus which is some what heavy for a older system.
Download Firefox, its a free way to stay safer.
