Avast Home version together with Threatfire should be good enough for the average user. Norton is a hog and is expensive if you want it’s best suite.

avira slow and bulky? lol you must be thinking of norton.
avira only runs 3 processes in task manager and they are extremely low on resources

What ever you decide on. do this.. use free malwarebytes’ antimalware and superantispyware once a week… not a one is 100% percent detection rate,, you need to do these two programs.. btw… avg free has no root kit protection… check out free avira or avast..
