Why Is Norton Antivirus Software Stopping Outlook Express From Operating?

I have a brand new laptop, with Windows Vista operating system, Norton antivirus software and wireless broadband connection. At first, I could send and receive emails, but now Outlook Express won’t work at all! My ISP helpdesk is telling me that my Norton antivirus firewalls are the problem. What should I do to make it work?

   several reasons. if the firewall is actually causing this issue(you can test it by disabling the firewall and checking) u will have to change the settigs of the firewall.
   if it still doesnt work u might hav to contact norton
