   There are several good free anti-virus programs that you can use.
   I would personally recommend Avira AntiVir. This has the best detection rate of any free anti-viurs software, and also does not use up loads of system resources.
   You could also try out Avast Free Home Edition. This has good detection and a simple interface.
   If I were you I would avoid AVG, as the two programs I mentioned above do a better job at protecting you. Also, I wouldn’t advise using Live Onecare or Windows Defender.

   If your computer is affected by a virus.
   Then It will stop the services of your computer which will not allow you to access the security softwares.
   In this case, you may try to scan the viruses directly from website.
   Please visit http://safety.live.com and perform the full system scan.
   It will install a set of components and scan the harddrive to remove the viruses.
   It is a free.

   use AVG Free 8.5……im currently using it and hasnt failed me yet!!!!!
