Compare Antivirus Software

What Is A Good Antivirus/antispyware Software For A Laptop?

So recently i had to reformat my hard drive and i lost spyware doctor. Even though it was paid for and i can use the serial one more time i want to know if there are any other antivirus/antispyware softwares which may be better.
If so please tell me!
Should i buy norton 360 3.0?

   No do not use Norton, it is way off from being any where near best!
   IMO, the 3 leading products are Nod32, Bitdefender and Kaspersky.
   Best out of these is probably Kaspersky which you can get at http://www.antivirusmarket.co.uk at 50% Off!

   no, don`t buy norton!!!!
   its better if u buy bitdefender antivirus.
   it is not so expensive and its countable..

   NO!! don’t get Norton its too heavy for any kind of pc !
   I would tell you buy Kaspersky its the BEST anti virus ever (ranked)
   For a free antivirus what I use ! It’s pretty good not annoying or anything its called Avira ANTI-Vir Personal

   Get avast latest edition. Purchace the professional version. It has way more updates then norton. & also install a free software called malewarebytes. Its a spyware, and malware remover. I hope this helps.

   Why buy what you can get for free from many sources?
   There are several FREE software packages that do the same thing.
   I happen to use AVAST, but that is just MY preference.
   “Google” Free anti-virus.

   Download Spybot:Search and Destroy
   and
   AVG Antivirus
   from Download.com for free.
   They won’t slow your computer down
